Hi, My name is Michelle and I create whimsical jewellery for both children and adults. I have been involved in my art for about 10 years now. I live in Brantford, Ontario. I went to the University of Ottawa where I obtained a degree in Business. My mother, my grandmother and my great-grandparents all hail from the beautiful town of Paris, ON. I loved visiting my great-grand mother is Paris every chance I could. It is a great town and when I was invited to be part of Kindred Spirits (a group of artist and craftspeople), I jumped at the chance. I create more for fun and enjoy sharing what I do by selling in a few venues a year. One of the best venues I have experienced is Christmas in Paris. I enjoy all the friendship of being a Kindred Spirit member which is a large part of Christmas in Paris.
I use different types of media to create my jewellery. I use such things as bottle caps, vintage resin beads, Swarovski crystals, polymer clay beads (made by myself), artisan lampwork beads, and a variety of ribbons. I even use lego pieces and actual hardware for one of my boy’s line. I am starting a new line this year for little girls. It is funky hair clips. I line clips with the best quality ribbon with funky designs and add the cutest hand stitched felted pieces. You can even add one of my other newest lines, magnetic bottle caps.
