I was born in Paris and have lived in the area all my life. I became a member of the Kindred Spirit Artisan Group a few years ago and have enjoyed participating at various levels within the Group and being involved in Christmas in Paris.
I began sewing at an early age, skirts and dresses for my sisters and later outfits for my children. My mother and grandmother taught me knitting and embroidery and my interest in quilts came later and I’m pleased that it still is a great source of enjoyment for me.
Teaching others through various workshops and having their skill and confidence levels grow is a terrific reward in and of itself.
I thoroughly enjoy quilting, using less than traditional techniques to achieve traditional results and have come to realize that the possibilities are positively endless. The biggest problem that I have encountered is there is not enough time to try them all….but I will keep trying.
I will be at the Paris Grand Clubhouse Holiday location this year.
